STEP 15 – GIVE TWO OPTIONS

broken image

Have you ever been out with a group of friends or on a date and someone asks you WHERE DO YOU WANT TO EAT? It can be overwhelming, right? I mean what even sounds good?

The same thing happens when we start scheduling an appointment and we ask them "What works for you?" Suddenly we have just overwhelmed them.
But when we’re going out to eat, if someone asks, "would you prefer Chinese or seafood?" it doesn't seem so hard to choose, right? You might remember, that you ate Chinese for lunch yesterday and so you choose seafood. Our choice becomes simpler.
In the same way, GIVING TWO OPTIONS enables your contact to think through their schedule and figure out when they can fit in some time to chat with you.
To do this, say We might say something like this:

"I have 6:00pm on Tuesday and 10:30am on Wednesday. Which works best for you?"

If they happen to say that neither one works for them, what can you do?

GIVE TWO MORE OPTIONS!

We already know that they want to make an appointment, so now it’s just a matter of figuring out if the day or time is the issue and providing additional choices.

QUESTION – WHAT ARE SOME TIMES YOU ARE LOOKING TO FILL THIS WEEK WITH APPOINTMENTS? GIVE US TWO OPTIONS. CIRCLE THEM IN YOUR PLANNER.
